Heres at stategy I use for the end of games (or taking out single continents)
Placing ALL units on one slot and running thru as many continents as you can. For example, your main enemy controls Asia and Australia, you control NA and SA. You mass all units on alaska and run the coast as far as you can until you hit thru Australia , there you leave your remaining force.(They will try to regain all but usually they cant, then you sweap thru and kill) For one continent (at the begining of the game) mass all units on one spot and attack one spot of a continent. Then once you win there leave all your units there droping them to 4 income and hurting their chances to regain the continent and making the next turn easy

You'll find this strategy elsewhere here, referred to as 'nailing'. There is ongoing debate about when to do it, and when it's wise to refrain.

i think this can be a great, deadly strategy. the only problem is, they can attack you in places where your units arent stacked up, and take you over.

Nailing is an excellent stratgy because it prevents your neighbor from receiving his bonus which makes expansion much easier for you.
