I play Risk a lot with my cousins and I am pretty good at it. I know there are some online Risk games out there, but I have never tried them. They seem to be played differently because you cant talk to each other during the game like when you do playing a board game. I don't want to make a fool of myself. What do you recommend me to do. How different is it. I know some of you must be really good in online games. So please tell me. |

You should just take it easy and go with the flow. Online games are slightly different because players don't know each other. So they can be nasty at times. But you should use the same rules as you do with any Risk game. Don't over expand, know who you are attacking. Listen to them if they chat. Most important pay attention to their level of expertise. An experienced online player with 1000 games played should be treated slightly differently from a new player. Observe, learn the user interface well, and make sure you know the rules. You will be OK. |

the game is pretty much the same, just keep in mind that one should almost never make alliances, because people will break them more often, and in timed turns they can waste too much time |

i think he is looking for tips, not so much places where you can play. But yea, as i said earlier theres nothing to fret about; its just a game. So relax, play around a bit, and have fun. The best community game i have found is called Lux Delux, however it does cost money so be prepared for that... |
