sure it would be immoral but i the right situations stabbing a friend in the back,/chest/leg/wherevever situation applies, might mean overwelming forces in the next round, allowing you to apologize then thank your out of game friend for helping you win.
just another 30 sec thought....

my friend holds grudges if you attack him with an alliance just once causes hes a sissy and makes an alliance and NEVER EVER...did I mention NEVER breaks it. But if it helps you win, do it. Tell him its a game. But I could see how they could hold it against you in life.
or, you could literally stab him in the back. |

You are forced to determine the nature of the player, if the player is one who hold grudges, don't do it. Like they say, don't do something, someone else can do. However, if it is for the win, or a matter of wipeout, I'd do it.

Never break an alliance if you think you will ever play a game with the preson in the future. It is a valuable tool to be able to know your border will be secure for a few turns.
If someone you are playing is about to break an alliance remind them that this will hurt their game from that point on, because no one will trust them for an alliance.

I'll give anyone a chance once, but "fool me once shame on you... fool me twice shame on me". If anyone stabs me in the back, I'll it will be a cold day in hell before I ally with them again. And if I do ally myself to them I'll be prepared for them...

If I witness unscrupulous acts against others... I'll learn from that too. |

NEVER BETRAY ANYONE. Unless you are in the following situtation.
a) you will never play with these players again, and it puts you in a situation to win the game. |
