choose america. with the biggest reward, easiest to expand from and only 3 borders to defend. Even more, if you expand to south america, you get a whole new continent without even increasing the number of your borders. What more do you want |

Don't know where to start off at
Well a good position to start off a game is the continent Australia small but good u can even start up a huge army there take it over with a few men until u control it. And a good thing to do is to pile at least 10 men on Indonesia but if u own Siam u can choose to place your men there but there is two countrys to attack against it. Where if u put your men on Indonesia the only way to attack Australia is by Siam.

you want to control Siam because when a player holds China and India they have to reinforce both because you could take one of them. If you only hold Indonesia you must hold out against a huge army in only Siam. This boxes you in, while the Siamese player can expand, build up a huge army, and repeatedly smash Indonesia with new armies every turn |

I would start in africa so you can get the bonus armies and only have a couple of borders to defend from, and plenty of places to attack

Well it seems the player with stuff in NE asia is either trying to get all of asia (not a good idea) or is trying to get NA the around the world way. If he is going for Asia, he will crash and burn, but Aust wont be able to get any other countrys. They wil be in conflict , and not able to police you sufficeintly. In that case take NA and work your way into SA while your buddies fight in nam. (making sure no one gets all of Eu or Africa). |

start in south america. It is far away from the other two, so while they are bickering and destroying each others troops, you can expand into africa. The "dumb" player will be going for North America, making it easy for you to surround australia. Once that is done, you will be extremely powerful, as you will have africa, south america, australia, and part of asia. You most likely will have to fight for Europe quite a bit, but you will have North America surrounded, helping you win the game. The key idea is to start far away from everyone else, so you aren't weakened by large attacks, and you can expand your army alone. |

yea, basically the ideas is to expand into the Americas. Let the other two battle it out, and you can grow, probably into Africa next. Then you've got Europe forced into Asia, and they will be weakened. Go into it, and you have pretty much just won, even if your enemy takes Australia and Asia, you will be too powerful for them to stop you. If you need to fall back, always keep the Americas at a first priority. |
