To be honest i rarely get to play unless my friends feel like playing, but who can blame them. I always win. I dont like to brag but i just seem to be naturally good. im undefeated. And its getting harder to get them to play. and when they do its harder to win because the ALL gang up on me. I dont want to lose but i also dont want to no ever play. So i was hoping that someone has advice? |

Well, its simple. You, like all the rest of us great Risk players, are suffering from "Always-Wins syndrome". Unfortunately there is only one cure for this. You need to lose! Yep, that's the only especially if they decide not to play the Risk game at all. Though, usually players don't cop out because they cant win, so i don't know what you have done to them in your games ;-) Basically, look at the big picture and "tell" them that ganging up against you is unfair. They will then try not to attack you all at once, but one at a time and you can use that to your advantage to survive in the game. But don't worry if you were going to lose. It is always more enjoyable to play with players who think they have a chance to win. |

I would agree with Ehsan. The trade-off really is: Do you want to lose a game here or there and at least keep playing and having fun with interested players OR do you want to just win at all costs and essentially kill your chances of playing a game you love to play? IT becomes hard to win a game you don't play. Now, don't tank yourself but play well and allow the players to teach you a few lessons. Try out a different strategy see what works or doesn't work. Handicap yourself by trying to start in Asia or Europe for a change. I do that all the time and that pays more dividends than trying to win every game. I have learned more from my losses in those types of games than I do when winning a game using a classic strategy. |

Another option would be to play Risk on your PC with other players as experienced as you are. That way, you don't need actual proximity to get a game going, and a good game at that! It's not much fun to play when the outcome is predetermined and online you'll find players that have the same problem you do. Luckily my group of risk-playing friends have been playing together for over 20 years. We have to drive across town to get that game going, but it's worth it. But, the downside is, when you've been playing with the same people that long, there are truly no surprises. We know each other too well. |

AHHH. I really dont like losing. and I did ask why they dont like playing and they said it was because i pretty much told them how the game was gonna end up. then I did it. And they said it pisses them off cuz i just win to quickly. I always play black too and they say im like the black Plague.haha. But i love the game so much. So I guess the only way to make an omlete is to break a few eggs... Thanks a lot.
PS I was suprised by the maturity in this online community:) ill make sure i try to keep active. Thanks again |

One thing you need to make sure of though, if they gang up on you, go down fighting to the last man. you'll see that over time, people will be reluctant to attack you. and trust me, a good diplomat can work this out to his own need. |
