Hi Everyone,
I would like to learn to play Risk with my 13yr old and was wondering what would be a good PC version of the game?
And, where to download from??
A year from now we are planning a "RISK" weekend at our next campout, so we have lots of time to learn the board game before then!

Thanks for any Help/Suggestions

The official PC version I know is Risk II which is available from Amazon. It seems to have a good all around game play. I also think Lux Delux is a good Risk game as it has good AI and you can play online against other players easily. With Risk II you may struggle to find players. Check online resources on this site for more.

Hope this helps.

I like Risk II as well and I play it often.  Unfortunately the online community for that game isn't what it used to be and the AI for the one-player game can make many questionable moves, especially when fortifying.  All-in-all, it helps with my tactics and fine-tuning.

There really aren't that many. Its a shame. There is one called Lux, but if your gonna bring a 13 yr old with you then be careful. The owner is a foul mouth pot smoker from Vancuver. I don't play over there anymore cause I was banned for objecting to the owners drug induced rants in the forums.

Just a note for those of you who may have been wondering why Lux Delux has suddenly jumped so high in the rankings...

This is because a user in the Lux Forum has posted a link, requesting all users of Lux to vote for it. (http://sillysoft.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11856)

So beware if making a choice based on this survey!
