Good afternoon(or morning or night) and the phases = turns has begun. Each person is represented by a letter.

A reinforces then B then C etc.

A attacks then B then C etc.

A fortifies the B then C etc.

2¢ is my son so we have the same email. Sorry for any confusion.

wait i forgot to make this clearer. In stead of having one person having to do all three phases as aturn one person does one phase per turn.

Ok, I see, how does it play out then? Have you tried it? How does it change the game. and why is it better than classic rules?

It is slightly fairer and is suitable for people not having too much luck yet still want some luck.

Would you use random turn order or does the order stay the same through out? This is interesting and at first I wasn't clear on what you meant but I see now that the game is broken down into phases and not turns. The turns determine who will go next in each phase so this means that everyone's reinforcements will be on the board at the same time. This certainly makes it a bit better for the person going last since he gets his reinforcements earlier.

I wonder about the attacking phase with out random turn order or some kind of rotating system because since you can see everyone's placement, you can certainly play a strategy that takes advantage of this being more out in the open. It seems more chess like. Interesting idea that needs to be tried.
