While Risk is a great game, it suffers from the following issues.

Player elimination.

“Lame duck” players.

Long turns.

Long play time.

To address these issues, I created a variant of Risk with the following major changes.

Shorter play game. Based on playtesting, this game will take 30 to 90 minutes.

A player wins by getting the most victory points after a fixed number of turns.

No player elimination.
-
Combat does not involve dice.
- Players only get troops from the number of territories controlled. They do not get bonus troops from cards or continents.
Below is an image of the custom board I made for the game. However, Clash of Empires is compatible with the standard Risk board.
