Although i have both the LotR and the normal risk board, i tend to like to
use the LotR version more. We dont play with the extra rules, and i was
wondering if you had any good strategies that are unique to this board.
Thanks

The mountains are natural borders, and so are the rivers, so it's a good idea (if you play with the normal Risk rules) to get places like Moria to force the enemy to move around the long way to get into your main country

Yes, several differences, including the cards used, the objectives of the Good vs. Evil side, the Ring that moves during the game that limits the amount of turns the game will last. It is an interesting version that I have yet to play but own. Unfortunately my friends don't like the movie very much and they much prefer 2210 AD or one of the Star Wars games. Does anyone have war stories to tell about their experiences playing Lord of the Rings Risk? |
